Where? Washington D.C.

Emma Sarono of Tacoma, Washington reads the Northwest Hawai`i Times with Hawai`i Senator Daniel Akaka in Washington D.C. She was in the capital with Benjamin Baker and April West Baker for a board meeting for the Mainland Council Association of Hawaiian Civic Cluibs and also the annual lei draping ceremony of the statue of King Kamehameha I that took place on June 10th at the U.S. Capitol Statuory Hall. Emma and April are members of the Moku`aina A Wakinekona Hawaiian Civic Club and Ben Baker is the president.
